Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Effective date: May 31, 2026 (Version 2026.05)

This page explains how Ray Rasouli Real Estate (“Relta,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, and similar technologies (collectively, “tracking technologies”) on relta.ca (the “Site”). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What are tracking technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Pixels and tags are tiny pieces of code that load from a vendor to record an event (for example, that you viewed a page or submitted a form). SDKs are libraries embedded in the Site that perform similar functions. These technologies can be set by us (first-party) or by a third-party vendor (third-party). They may persist on your device for the duration of your session or for a longer period.

Categories of tracking technologies we use

We group tracking technologies into four categories:

  • Strictly necessary: required to operate the Site, authenticate you, secure forms, prevent fraud and scraping, and remember essential preferences. These are always on and cannot be declined.
  • Functional: enable optional features such as interactive maps and language selection.
  • Analytics: help us understand how the Site is used so we can improve it. These are loaded only after you opt in where required by applicable law.
  • Advertising / measurement: measure the effectiveness of our advertising and, where you have consented, support remarketing. These are loaded only after you opt in where required by applicable law.

The following table lists the principal tracking technologies deployed on the Site. The exact list may change from time to time as we add or remove vendors; we will update this page when material changes are made.

Your choices

Where required by applicable law (including Quebec Law 25 and the GDPR), non-essential tracking technologies are loaded only after you opt in through our consent banner. You can change your choices at any time using the “Cookie preferences” control. You can also block or delete cookies using your browser settings, although doing so may impair certain features of the Site.

We recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of “sale” and “sharing” under the California CPRA and equivalent US state privacy laws. When your browser transmits a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out for the browser and device on which the signal was sent.

“Sale” and “sharing” under US state privacy laws

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, our use of certain analytics and advertising tracking technologies (for example, Google Analytics with advertising features, Google Ads, and the Meta Pixel) may be considered a “sale” or a “share” for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are broadly defined under the California CPRA and similar US state privacy laws. You may opt out at any time through our cookie banner, by enabling GPC, or by emailing ray@relta.ca with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.”

International transfers

Many of the vendors listed above store and process personal information outside of British Columbia, including in the United States. Please see the “International data transfers” section of our Privacy Policy for details.
