Final Walkthrough & Move-In Day
Everything to do before and on closing day
- Verify the property is in the agreed condition: The contract states the property is sold in the condition it was in at the time of the offer (unless repairs were negotiated). Check that nothing has been damaged, removed, or changed.
- Confirm all included items are present: Appliances, light fixtures, window coverings, and any chattels specifically included in the contract should still be there. Sellers sometimes swap out high-end appliances for cheaper ones.
