What Are Subject Clauses?
Subject clauses (also called "conditions") are terms in the Contract of Purchase and Sale that must be satisfied before the contract becomes firm and binding. They give the buyer time to complete due diligence. If a subject is not satisfied, the buyer can walk away and receive their full deposit back.
