Standard Inspection Scope
A standard home inspection is a visual, non-invasive assessment of the property's major systems. The inspector evaluates: (1) structural components (foundation, framing), (2) exterior (roof, siding, grading, drainage), (3) plumbing, (4) electrical, (5) HVAC, (6) insulation and ventilation, (7) interior finishes, (8) windows and doors, (9) moisture and water penetration signs.
